MetaPals Patch Notes Version 0.3.0: Fresh Visuals and Exciting Things Cooking

Greetings, MetaPals community!

We are excited to announce the release of Patch Notes Version 0.3.0, featuring exciting updates, new features, bug fixes, and known issues to keep you informed and engaged in the MetaPals world.

Let's jump in and see what's new!

Updates and New Features

• Launch the redesigned extension user interface. To improve usability, the UI design now uses the Top Bar.
• Add a minimize button to the top bar, which users can easily access by clicking the Heart Icon.
• Optimize the companion behavior loop to improve balance between companion gestures.
• Update the MetaPals branding in the extension with the new logo and icon.
• Implement a new onboarding process to replace the previous tutorial.
• Implement background music in onboarding adoption.
• Update the metapals.world website to include an updated roadmap.
• Link the Extension modal's Help button to the MetaPals Blog for the most recent FAQ and game guide links.
• Remove the Sanctuary navigation UI and replace it with the Top Bar interface.
• Backyard gift box feature has been restored. Users can get freebies inside the gift box in Friend's Backyard.
• Replace the Boutique to 'Pals Boutique'.
• Move the Camera, Notes, Referrals and Visitors buttons to the center bottom of the Backyard.

Bug Fixes

• Fixed the companion's turning animation.
• Fixed the spine bug in the Dark Matter Dragon Onesie.
• Fixed a flickering glitch in the companion presence.
• Fixed a wearable bug in which it was not removed when equipped in a conflicted slot.
• The consumables cancellation bug has been fixed. Consumables now disappear after cancelling the item.
• Fixed the companion's oversleeping behavior.
• Fixed the Backyard's layering so that the loading screen is now the top layer.
• Fixed the level pop-up bug. The level pop-up is no longer visible after it was closed.

Known Issues

• Occasionally, the extension may appear unresponsive. Switching back and forth between tabs will resolve this.
• There is a chance that the companion will become a duplicate. Please try reloading the tab from the settings and report a bug if the issue persists.
• If your companion doesn't want to eat despite hunger being below 100%, try moving the pet and the food.
• If a companion is missing on a specific tab and the summon bell doesn't work, simply refresh the tab.
• Glitching may occur in companion facial expression and turning animation, sometimes resulting in the companion glitching into sleep position when picked up.
• Delays in updating food quantities on the server result in hunger stats not increasing promptly as expected, leading to inconsistencies in food amounts.
